Real Men Outfitters (RMO) has been an extreme blessing to me and my life. I started volunteering last year and have nothing but great things that have come from it.

Not only have I been able to witness to the guys and see them grow not only in their faith but also in maturity and knowledge on how to he great men of God, I've also learned a lot myself and have truly grown in my own life and my own walk of faith along with the other leaders and volunteers.

RMO is a great opportunity that teaches values that can't be taught in everyday society and develops anyone involved into a better person regardless of their situation. It is truly a team of Champions.

I am an avid hunter and fisherman and I enjoy spending quality time my own son, exploring the woods and waters in our area. I find it a blessing to be able to work with RMO (Real Men Outfitters). This allows me to share my love of hunting, fishing, and most importantly God with young men who otherwise may not have these opportunities.

Unfortunately, some of these young men come from “broken” homes and have no positive male figure in their lives to garner these experiences from.  Some of these young men do have great fathers in their lives, but may lack the skills of hunting and fishing in order to help teach their sons.

RMO engages our communities to offer unique opportunities to young men who otherwise may never get to experience the great outdoors.  RMO teaches and guides young men about life in the great outdoors and all that it entails, while showing them how positive it is to be men of God.

Being a volunteer with RMO has helped me in my day-to-day walk with my Father. With RMO’s continued support, I am growing and living the example of Christ. I enjoy the great times that we get to spend together and the lasting relationships that are built on this journey. I look forward to many more years of working with RMO and seeing lives impacted in a positive way.

RMO (Real Men Outfitters) has made a huge impact on my boys. I just can’t say that enough. They have been involved for almost two years now. My boys have enjoyed it so much they have even recruited their friends to come too! Each week they ask if its RMO week or not and when the next meeting is going to be. I think they would go EVERY week if the opportunity was available! They love going on trips and learning how to hunt and fish.

If it weren’t for this program they might never have had the opportunity to get to do this sort of stuff. So I am extremely grateful RMO exists. I can honestly say I have seen such a difference in my boys since they have started RMO. My boys love Jake and the other RMO team members and this ministry. These are great people with big hearts and a big vision for our young men and as they grow older.

I encourage you, if you or someone you know has a boy or young man that needs this sort of connection with a male figure then I urge you to get them involved in this program. I promise you will be glad you did. I am a happy-grateful mom of a RMO member.
